Now i dare to call myself professional pianist... wahaha...
Just got back from a wedding gig... lasted longer than i had wanted to play but continued for a bit... Good feedback from many a person... even from those at "my table"... yes, i was given a placing at the lady's colleagues table... all lecturers and partners of lecturers. Had some fun interacting with them... It's a good feeling to know that all educators are facing the same problems with the younger generation... Nice to have pple come up and thanking you for playing well... ha... (no no... not vain glory - oh oh... recognition = vainglory?) I'm confused...

Now i'm ready for more of such gigs... bring them on... weeeee!

On another note... Got an email Thurs/Fri frm my Loveworks bossss, T... "arrowed" - together with a few others to be part of a core team for Loveworks - Of course I'll accept... i think... can i not accept due to one very selfish reason...? Not nice right... It'll be against my conscience right...? hmmm... haven't replied the mail... but i'm sure boss already knows my answer... i'm sure...

Typical Singaporean

National Day hols began with a pupil coming over for lessons - he's a really good boy: always trying hard to please and well, getting his notes right! Nice, teachable pupil. Then rushed out to meet our Khmer friends - only to realize tht the other SGreans were gonna be late (so typical huh?) I was just on time... they were late! Our Khmer friends treated us to lunch - heh... i think they were feeling kinda embarrassed that we were taking a significant amount of time out to bring them around and treating them to lunches... wattodo...

Halfway through ice-cream i had to abandon them to go collect my phone. What was supposed to be a simple phone collecting activity ended up being more shopping activity than anything else. Used my voucher @ Isetan to purchase a wallet. Haven't used it yet... it's still sitting around. Picked up "Britten" - a book... for a super low cost of $3.49 from Borders... Good deal good deal! But i haven't read it yet... so no idea wat it's about yet.

Or maybe not...
Complained about my phone's wonderfully "great" ability to auto-off after hanging up the phone and it's ability to cut calls short cuz of the reception problems... and wat do you know - owner of a similar phone model complained and thus we sent it for repair... together... of all things right...
PP does not only stand for Phnom Penh... there was yet another meaning to it - discovered on Monday night.
Ice-cream from bravissimo after dinner tht night... eeeks... no QC!

Headed back to the Ex-school today. Everyone looked good... nothing to worry about... other than the band i left behind. Ex-pupils were pretty welcoming... and of course an experience like tht was much more pleasant than screaming and shouting everyday. In a few years, there'll be absolutely no reason to head back there other than to keep friendships with colleagues.

Had a really odd dream last night - Thank God it wasn't at all true... I would've killed myself if it were...! but is it a revelation of something i so desperately want that anything fits? - i shudder at the thought.
