Where to start... (or rather to continue from...?)
2009 has been a rather good year... everything was provided for...
Apart from the combined choir thing, i got pulled into children's choir too... So, the weeks leading up to christmas were busy, busy, busy.... every other night was filled with makan sessions with a friend or another... as long as there were no lessons that evening, I was out... Managed to catch up with quite a few friends. Christmas eve was madness... it all began at 6.30pm tht evening... and only ended the next morning at almost 2am - continued with a supper/celebration thing till 5am. Luckily though that I could get out of midnight mass rehearsals - so managed to slot a post-children's mass meal with Jer, who did come for tht mass. Just wish there was more concrete feedback of how their singing was though... asking jer was of no use... "as long as the kids were cute"... alamak! Own family couldn't provide any useful feedback either... :(
Anyways, after only like 3 hrs sleep, was back in church again for morning mass... lunch was at ION, before we shopped for stuff and headed down to my Godson's place. Bumped into my ocusin at ION - i actually just met up with her the Sat before... :) That was tonnes of late nights... leading all the way to the end of the year...
Just a few things for the beginning of the year... things didn't seem to start out right... after a couple weeks of thinking, and some SMSes, I finally decided it was time to move on... So, i'm no longer a part of that thing anymore. Work-wise, schedules keep changing. I used to totally hate all this change in schedule and stuff, however, i guess i've begun to get more accustomed to it - so i dread it less... I still hate schedule changes, but i think i manage it better...
Had the usual b'day thing with ting, lian, elaine and kenny (1 was missing) at Ma Maison at Bugis... the Sat after, was driven to this pasta place at the upper floor of Changi Village Hotel... So full after that that I was glad we parked further away. Was sad that we didn't manage to fit in dessert though...
Had a chance to go for dinner with Elaine over 2 Thursdays... Missed hanging out with her and the rest... oh well... Managed to squeeze in a dinner on Fri last week... ended up at ION queueing up for Itacho - it was SO worth IT! (it was this close to tsukiji) and then for icecream at Gusttimo's...
Got asked to conduct children's mass again... this time for Easter. Beginning prac this week! I'm also seeing signs... don't like 'em, but will ignore for now... though i'm definitely not comfortable!
