Week ONE... is over... time flies...
Really feel the need to quote CY on this... yes... time flies... I'm feeling darn OLD... It's been a week since I had to prac Tempest MM3... zzeeee performance was fine... thank you... actually managed to catch up a little with David over rehearsals and the performance... it looks like it's the same every where... everyone also has their good days and down days... the little concert/refreshment thing sponsored by the Hungarian Embassy was pretty interesting... too bad I missed the 1st half... the dinner with SW, Ting and Clare after that was good... got a ride home... ;)
The week flew... totally and absolutely... kinda decided to just treat different classes differently... y bother to treat every class the same when they don't deserve the same treatment? Am I just mean... plain given up...? Maybe so... decided to reduce music lessons to just watching VCDs and DVDs... for some classes... till they know how to move, speak and behave properly... wonder if that would ever happen... if never, I'll just hand out a worksheet/test thing and give them a grade at the end of the semester... haha...
Monday was tiring... thought I could head home for a good rest... turned out everyone HAD to hang around for some silly workshop that lasted till almost 6! Tuesday was frustrating... had to attend part 2 of the workshop and ensure that the band members are practicing and running through the required performance pieces... DANG... so much for my PB... half a month more... for holding 2 portfolios... really wished I had Hermione's 'turn-back-time' thingy at that point in time... headed home early on Wed and Thurs... I needed the sleep... and the rest... Fri was an absolute STONer day... Sports Day and all... ended up eating and eating... from Stan's place and playing some Bridge... to JP... for Lee Hai's farewell din din @ Swenson's... thank goodness no reply from Ben that night for supper... sheesh...!
Today was stressful... was really afraid some sections would be missing pple... standard few were missing... surprising few turned up... anyways, was pretty happy with kids' attendance... they learnt quite a bit of thing or so... went for dindin @ Sakae with CY, Beng and ES... it was fun... WW prac was... I should say... scary! Argh... everybody like suan-ing me from picking those pieces... but there again... kinda felt that they were happy to be challenged to play such pieces... aiyah... pieces are picked and confirmed anyways... so... (got a couple of 'evil stares'... i know those were... for fun... i hope) Almost got the chance to play board game again... but PCO's tmr... and owner of house wanted to play mahjong instead... i guess not an appropriate time... there's always the 8th... followed by SAFCB's Beautiful Sunday perf on 9th... let's see what happens...
