Variations on a Ninth... and other stories...

One hour band prac today was good... half hour to run through the piece above, written by James Curnow... sounds really decent... surprisingly! A colleague came by my table this morning and gave me a CD - Piazolla's Tangos performed by Yo-Yo Ma... She said she couldn't understand what it was all about so she gave it to me... it's a China Version of the Disc...

Had Lots to eat today... Feeling FAT...

Bumped into an ex-band mate today... on the way to Al-Ameen for supper... All I remember is that he's a clarinetist... he remembers my name... but I don't remmeber his... in fact, I have no recollection of knowing his name in the 1st place... (Does this make me a BAD person?) we talked, caught up a bit... but I still dunno his name! argh...

Ex-pupil 'told' 'asked' me about this person in a band i'm currently in... I said I know her... then somehow there's a link... which means "I" happened to be one of the conversational topic of this kid and 'new band mate'... eekss... This is SCARY... Lotsa pple knowing and remembering who I am... and I don't really know them... oooooohhhhhhhhhmmmmmmm...... muz meditate!

  • Aiyah, lots of people talk about us without us knowing. Its a small band scene out there lor. I also wonder what people are talking about behind me.

"There, that tall tall fat fat one lor. Sightreading super lousy. Playing so-so only. He going CCAB leh..."
