Finally... the end... awaiting yet another beginning...
Ended a super long 4d-3n camp in school on Fri... did the pupils learn anything...? I suppose so... @ least most of them would have learnt something... no matter the quantity or the quality... their attendance @ the band performance probably woke them up the most... managed to get Cal to go for the BHF thing so decided to go for it... Some personal 'take-aways' from the camp... this is for myself... readers, omit if u wish...
1) attendance @ good concerts should be done as early in the camp as possible... 2) cut most activities or combine as many of them as possible so that more time could be devoted to rehearsals and foot-drill... 3) this is mean - but can't help it... nvr allow 4NAs to some back for camps... they most of them just make fools of themselves... 4) have farewell celeb earlier in the day so tht the snrs could be more easily moved out of the school... 5) nvr wish for pple who have been 'sabotaging' events to stop 'sabotaging' them... i guess that's enough pointers for myself for now...
Had problems getting up from sleeps and naps this couple of days... probably not recovered from the camp yet... i should be well rested in a day or so... I hope...
Had to drag myself out of bed yesterday morning to teach piano and then head out for Crystal's wedding lunch... they tested this prog for wedding... quite useful for getting statistics... but other than that, doesn't help much... (know all these) cuz I was helping @ the reception and giving pple their table nos.... got a lift home from Mrs Heng... headed for dinner with EL before heading for duet and WW prac soon after resting for a short while @ home... WW prac was the usual... CY passed me all the keyboard scores... got arrowed again... cuz his perc sectn not enuff players... I guess I'll have to be frank here lah... as long as it's not boring parts with plenty of rests in between, I dun mind taking the keyboard parts...
Was late for choir prac again today... dad sent me... thank God... or I would have been even later for choir... got arrowed for nxt week's psalming... but...i won't be around... and some of them thought i 'siaming' cantor... hmm... I know how to cantor wat... 'siam' for wat?? hee hee... then had a quick lunch before heading to WW prac... last prac of the year!!! before heading to Osaka... have planned to attend the flute fest in Osaka... thx to kev who told me about it the other night via MSN... at least it'll make this trip to Osaka a bit more meaningful... dinner was with DH and CY... couldn't really be bothered to wait for the rest to get moving... it takes AGES for everyone to move out of the area... it's kinda like the door cannot be locked before 1830 hrs or else... cuz prac ended early today... and as with all other days when prac ended early, the room will not be vacated until a 'suitable' time... oh well... the less this happens in JP, the better... o/w i think I'm really wasting $$...
So ONE chapter has closed... the beginning of yet another should begin soon... I suppose... do I really want the new chapter to begin...? wat if it's a repeat of history...? then it'll be like 'groundhog day'... dun like tht feeling... not at all... oh well... live and let live...
