And... a wonderful Beautiful Sunday performance!
It's been a busy week... so far... wonderful experience playing to an almost Full Esplanade Concert Hall... that's 1500 pple at the very least! it was apparently a good performance... mostly good intonation... and well my section was like the most in tune out of the many times we've played together... ah ha... usual after concert outing and eating and drinking... all really quite fun...
Spent the whole of mon morning doing up transcription for Eine Kleine... and GHFS... Finally.... left like the last 20 bars of Eine Kleine...!!! kanbatte!!! was supposed to head for a staff mtg this morning at 9... however... had already planned band prac a week before even the 'official' schedule was out... so guess wat? I, this 'pai kia'... happily skipped the mtg haha! eh, the ppl who read these ah... dun sabo me... anyways, my EL HOD called me like twice... and then msged me to ask 'if i was heading for the mtg'... u get that? she asked IF i was going... she didn't insist that i go... hahaha... so... as the story goes... i managed to worm my way out of ... 1) staff mtg... 2) dept mtg... and still spoke to the HOD after all of that... (found out I might STILL have to take EL next year... though she said to keep fingers Crossed... ha... my toes, hair, eyes ALL oso crossed!!)
Headed to STC for Lizzie's engagement reh... caught up with Daryl... who's been in NZ all this while... he's back for the Hols... wat a lot he has to share with us... and Daryl... thx for the company while waiting 61...
Omigosh... ok... almost 1 hour to finish up this entry... MSNing CY, Kev and Ben at the same time... haha... again, pple, thanks for being there... beginning to learn a lot from these pple...
another long day tmr...!
