Brought pupils out for a Pizza lunch on Wed... top 10 pupils + 3 most improved... anyways, I ordered a large and 4 regulars for them to share... damage: $125... (not too bad... less than $10 per head)
Yes... it's finally over... the initial stage of S..E..M.. is finally finished... and I sincerely hope I'm not going to be involved in any more of those mtgs... argh! really really hate it! so many plans, so much talking... or rather hot air... prob enough to fill a hundred of those hot-air balloon thingies... Anyways, kinda felt i wasted 2 days discussing and listening to... stuff that're supposed to make things better... but sounds more like increasing work-load and portfolio... seriously, whoever heard of 'Aesthetics Specialist' within a school context? Both days were supposed to be 9 - 3 only... on thurs, we ended at 4... on fri... 5!!! and caused me to rush home and out again... thurs - for YST Orch Concert and Fri - to collect my clar fr home before NIE prac.
Spent first 3 of my waking hours teaching piano... then stoning a little before heading out to church... and ww prac... Concert tmr...! oops... i mean... later...

SEM? yeah, sounds familiar. mine became almost like a live-firing session - 1 person vs the rest. thank God i'm out on invigilation. dun wanna see WWIII appearing right before my own eyes! yeah... sometimes i feel that these things are for the SMC to like blow their own trumpet on what they've done to improve the school.
but then again, my ex-P said that things like SEM can't be avoided. and i know she meant it cuz she's not one to believe in it. but now that she's working for HQ, she understands why SEM MUST be done (beneficial for EV.) so moral of story: there's a reason for everything, and we have to be there to see it.
