In the month of August... and slightly beyond
I stepped into tht church only ONCE. 15 Aug, cuz as stated in previous blog, i was volunteered for tht thing... no choice. Ya, and that was it lah... Cynthia was sweet enough to ask on the 22nd if i wanted a ride to church the next day. Turned down the offer... cuz had to teach SY tht morning and then head to katong to join Godson for lunch. Finally went church on 30th... but at Sacred Heart. It was nice. But the rainy, wet weather was the down of it all... Lunch was good, but Godson was grumpy tht day... maybe cuz he bit his tongue, it was all red and he didn't have much lunch.
Finally stepped in to WW prac on 22nd... felt a bit weird to be back, but it was ok. Pieces were easy enough to sight-read. But stamina and embrouchure totally couldn't make it, haha...
Had supper apptmt on 29th... ended up at Yishun Ave 1 again... to "chui1 hai3 feng1" ... (almost immediately after my request of this place the previous time we met...)
Chatted, Crapped and then we left to go Ah Mei at rail mall for supper... (or breakfast, if u wish to call it) i was almost "forced" to google "interesting breakfast places" and "meaning of... Jason Mraz song" (can't remember the title liao... ) in the end i didn't lah... and i still haven't done it... heh
Teachers' day... Had breakfast at "rider's cafe"... interesting place... cuz got horses... tht's it... but i chose nice breakfast... so it was all in all a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, much of the area was "for members only" so we couldn't actually walk around the place or take a look... Then i came home to watch... my long awaited "Totoro"! SOOOO CUTE! haha... but i so much prefer the story line for mononoke...
Had dinner with Arlene at Nihon Mura - yes... finally... only to visit there again yest... monday night... with Elaine and Ting... oh well... So much we talked about... some very bitchy stuff... but at the same time... can't help it lah... Too funny and too ridiculously MAD to not talk about...!
Bad thing on Sunday - I kinda finally decided to go ahead with singing in Christmas Choir and had Benji sign me up on Fri for an audition on Sunday 3pm. So after appearing at 1045 choir and staying for lunch and then waiting... I saw someone... and Pride took over and i headed for home. No auditioning for me... I totally refused to walk into the same room as the 2-headed snake. Seeing the person walk out of church with A was already bad enough... go into tht room where he is so "happily" sitting and listening... NO WAY... Went for a walk and dinner with Benji after tht... cuz he went for auditions anyways... and passed :)
