Around the World...
What i expected to be a quick lunch, dragged till... supper...
The Hari Raya break started off with 5 planned lessons, but only 4 actual lessons... cuz someone decided not to turn up. I've a good mind to just ask her to stop coming for lessons though... don't really like the attitude she has during lessons anyways... should i, should i not...? She was improving lah, but like a couple of the really IRregular and lazy ones, i feel like just asking them to move on... so i get more committed and hardworking pupils...
Set off for lunch by 1plus... was almost in La-la land when J called... Anyways, headed to Clarke Quay... (hey, did i mention that i was thinking tht area for lunch too?) after scouting round almost the entire Central, we settled for the original place he was thinking of going - "fisherman's wharf" opposite Central... not a bad place... decent portions... though i was hungry, i couldn't finish my fries... heh... but someone cleaned up the fries for me... yay! didn't waste food... Wanted to head back to Central to check out this Jap Supermart... but aiyah... didn't put enough parking coupon... wattodo... go back lor.
J mentioned about checking out some samsung phone... sure... why not? Then it was a drive to Vivocity... ok... it was literally around vivocity in 3 hours? not quite sure how long it was... Lunch lasted till 4 plus? By the time we got out of vivo it was 8plus... (collected the tix from sistic already! yay! - but i got stuck holding on to them till concert day... :() Anyways, went through some boutiques... yuck, clothes season's no good again... the samsung phone didn't turn out to be as "chio" as seen in the adverts... so i did a bit of shopping at giant... My aerated mineral water... to go with my Lychee liquor and "music & lyrics" dvd... :)
Ok... so we drove out of vivo... and headed for Dempsey - Ben & Jerry's - yum... It was a good night to be there... was a bit too crowded for my liking and music was a tad too loud... but... gosh, the duos who were singing there... they were good! really like tht duo with the Beat box thing... it's just amazing... and the guy who was singing... his voice can really melt hearts...! So... what did we have there... shared a sandwich... and a B & J's waffle! hee hee... 2 ice creams... my cherry garcia and J's chocolate fudge brownie... (so sinful lah... muz share the fats... haha... luckily he doesn't like durians so no durian flavour ice-cream... is there one at B & J's anyways?) and there it was... we hang around there for more songs... too bad J's gotta work tmr... couldn't stay to finish tht duo's 2nd performance segment... so by 11 we had to leave... tht was... aiyoh... 10 hours out of home... sheesh..!
All in all... a good day... not entirely sedentary... not entirely fattening... but indeed a little tiring... it's prob the darn tea tht i had with the fish & chips tht's keeping me awake now... 2 more free cell games before i head to sleep...
