My FIRST ever...

X-men movie... yes, kill me if u wish, scold me if u wish, I'm stating the truth here... Was nvr really a fan of X-Men, or rather, I've never really bothered to find out what that was all about. Anyways, ended up catching that show for several reasons... 1 of which, because it's a Sunday night and the beginning of the HOLS! woohoo! Although it was the very first movie, it left me thinking quite a bit... Yes, u muz be wondering wat there is to think about...

Plenty, in my view.

I've never really been a "metaphoricalist" (if there's such a word) but the battles between the mutants made me think of how the 'same kind' always tend to fight amongst themselves, even though both are in great danger. Here it is - The world now, is very quickly running low on natural resources (characterized by the humans in X-Men) and the usage OR wastage of much of these natural resources (humans) has led to an increase in global warming, depletion of ozone layer... (the 'antidote' the humans invented) of course in the hope of making people more aware of the crises... (the harms mutants are capable of... see the level 5 mutant) however, in our world's fight for higher GDP, better facilities, attractions, comfort... more resources used, war happens, conflicts... (mutants fought amongst themselves because of how they think, because of power, because each wants to be stronger than the other... sounds familiar?)

Will be catching X-Men 1 and 2, depending on when pple lend them to me... HINT HINT...
And... I think the comics will be interesting too... HINT HINT HINT...
