Thank God for...
hmm... it's one of those times... been like a few days since I updated...
3 times I went out... Thurs, Fri and Sat... in an attempt to mark... Fri and Sat was a whole night till morning thingy... Thurs, well was a shorter 1 am stint... have to be in school bright and early to invigilate on Fri...
Briefing on wed went well... short while only... headed back to school to moderate my EL Paper 2... it lasted almost 4 hours....!? argh... despite what I said, or thought I might do, I didn't get to get my foot fixed... neither the East not the West... limp lor... was finally much better on Fri... Ended up @ West Coast Mac both fri and sat nights... managed to get some work done... but I've tremendous feeling I'm marking too slowly nowadays... dunno why...
Fri night after band prac, we 5 + 1... (the '1' is Colin's friend...) headed to Cineleisure... thanks to Ras... haha... the food was ok... ended up being a party of 7... cuz Clare happened to bump into us after his movie... we went to the 2nd floor of Cine... opens till 5 am... Our dear Ras hit the big '30' just the day before, so we ended up feasting... had complimentary cakes all round too...yum... nice cakes! @ least settled some stuff with Clare re the exchange next year... hope all goes well...
Tennis game was fun... not to say all the ridiculous things 3 girls are capable of doing and saying... amidst all the ball picking... hee hee... spent these couple of afternoons sleeping... oh take pity on me!!!
Soooo many things happening on 22 Oct... C-ASH' wedding... supposed gathering @ East Coast and a farewell dinner for a retired colleague... oh well... ASH booked me first... so going for that... and thank God for that... I wouldn't want to travel ALL the WAY to East Coast to see 2 people flirt with each other at the gathering...(whether they actually flirt or not I really dun care cuz to me, whatever they do will be in that category... it's because I'm jealous, you say? Anything lah... it's gone to the extent that I really have no energy left to care anymore... do what you want... - just don't ask me to attend their wedding if they really get attached and get married... I'd rather shoot myself than to attend it...!) neither do i want to push my Band for a perf imm after they get back for prac...! (apparently some CCAs were 'arrowed' to put up perf for the retired teacher - not that I'm not for it... it's just simply too last minute and sudden... don't like such things - you can't expect pple to be at your 'beck and call')
Was just checkin one of my mail A/Cs and chanced upon a mail sent a few days back that I dismissed as 'can read later' type... only to realise that I've been again told to help Concert Management for 'Beautiful Sunday'... argh... Whatever the case I've to rush off immediately after the performance that Sunday... Have to attend my Godson's baptism at Holy Trinity!!!
Ok enough rambling... back to marking...
