It's a school holiday...

but i don't feel in the least bit relaxed @ all... boo hoo...!

Haven't done a thing the whole weekend. Sat's SYFOC took up more than half my day. One of the more satisfying things : the choir and wind ensemble rehearsal was reasonably decent...

One of the most stress-full masses i ever attended...
the 2 usual conductors for church choir informed us they wouldn't be turning up for choir... little did we know, nobody, nobody @ all, was asked to takeover the different roles or given any instructions! Conveniently for everyone, Benjamin, Clarissa and I had to hold the fort. Since Benjamin had to cantor and Clarissa is our keyboardist, it was left with me to make sure our violinists had their scores and for me to take over the conducting... (yes, yes, it's supposed to be 2nd nature now, but it's different doing this in church. EeeeeksSs!) this was even more scary than conducting NJ alumni for tht ONE rehearsal (without korean folk song conductor score and sight-reading "wizard of Oz" conductor score)

Things I'm gonna do today:
teach piano,
"fly" to God-son's home in pasir ris, (and dream a lot)
and back to BB for last class @ CSC.
End of day.

Things I'm supposed to do today:
Look for music resources,
type out a few worksheets,
come up with an ethnic music module for Sec 2s.
(Ah! brain suddenly working... click, click, click...- i shall carry on doing keyboard with my sec 2s first... now, what should i do with my sec ones? rhythm clapping exercise...? hmmm...)
Now i can buy more time and not risk teaching a less than "IT-fied" ethnic music lesson.

ANYONE out there remember receiving a VCD on Malay Music from CPDD some years back?
PLS lend it to me...! (desparate cries for help)
