Don't you just hate it when...

Someone comes up to you and say "you must start doing this u know..."

Just had that said into my face. - "You must stop conversing with them in Chinese... You know their English is poor so you must speak to them in English."

I thought, being a "wiser" and "more educated" and person of a much higher rank than I, you should know how to use "should"s and "Perhaps" and "Maybe"s? Definitely, courtesy has fallen. Tact has gone to the dogs. even for the supposed "wise". It's no wonder pupils nowadays are like that! - See what kind of pple are leading the institution? If even adults have problems with tact and respect, it'd be even worse for the younger generation to understand and accept it, won't it?

Anyways, according to one of my Linguistic lectures in i think, pragmatism or lexicology or smethin... can't remember wat... but i remember that Language can MAKE or BREAK a bond... So what't the problem with me using other languages other than English to converse? - I don't think immersion can be done just like that... they'd feel awkward anyway... so why force it? besides, most of the time i was talking to their parents , not to the kids... - surely speaking in the Lingua Franca works better to create closer relations and gain more respect from them...? sheesh...

You probably hate my guts... and how i manage to get out of things so easily... and how i can argue my way through such that I get wat I want... usually...
